Supabase + React: Shipping Full-Stack Apps Faster

Join us downtown and online

In this live demo session, we’ll build a small full-stack application using Supabase as an all-in-one backend platform for React apps.

Supabase provides a powerful backend-as-a-service stack that includes a hosted Postgres database, authentication, storage, APIs, and serverless functions — all designed to help frontend developers ship production apps without managing traditional backend infrastructure.

We’ll walk through how to:

  • Connect a React app directly to a Supabase database
  • Implement authentication and user management
  • Use built-in APIs and backend features
  • Model and query relational data
  • Ship a working full-stack app with minimal backend code

We’ll also briefly compare Supabase’s approach with other popular platforms like Firebase and PocketBase, and discuss tradeoffs between all-in-one backend platforms vs database-only and composable stacks.

If you’ve ever wanted to move faster from idea to deployed app — this session will show what modern backend tooling can unlock for React developers.
